The purpose of the Ms. U.S. Constitution Contest is to crown the very First Ms. U.S. Constitution. She will represent the message of the Constitution and the Constitution Celebration. The Constitution is the founding document of our country. This gives us our Liberties, Freedoms and all our Natural rights. The document represents and shows that the principles written in this document are still relevant and pertain to the past, present and future of the United States of America.
The five finalists must be present at the Constitution Celebration on Sept. 16, 2012. Where we will announce the runner up and crown Ms. U.S. Constitution. Each will give a short speech on what it means to hold this role as well as what the Constitution means to her. Then she will give her plans as to how to represent the Constitution Celebration and this founding document by educating others.
Entries: Females ages must be ages 21 years or older.
Will be evaluated on a point scale.

AN OFFICIAL APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED IN A HARD COPY AND MAILED TO ADDRESS ON APPLICATION FORM and a $30 Registration Fee.

Runner up: Will represent role of Ms. U.S. Constitution in an event that Crowned Ms. U.S. Constitution can no longer full fill her reign.

Registration Deadline: July 18, 2012 by 5 P.M.
Contest Date: August 3, 2011 by 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.
Crowning Date: September 16, 2012 1-5 P.M.
Ms. U.S. Constitution Competition Requirements:
1. Female contestant must be 21 years or older.
2. Contestant must be an American citizen.
3. Contestant will be judged on Basic Knowledge:
a. Appearance needs to be of professional attire- i.e. Business suit, dress.
b. Three questions will be evaluated on contestant’s basic Knowledge
on the U.S. Constitution: (See general questions on separate sheet).
4. Contestant will choose one Amendment from the existing XXVII Amendments:
Contestant will be interviewed on one question from the list below for
the August 3rd tryouts and September 16th final. Selected Questions:
a. Contestant will state their chosen Amendment.
b. What does (this amendment) mean, give your interpretation?
c. How does (this amendment) affect our Freedoms and Liberties?
d. Do you believe those Freedoms and Liberties still exist today?
5. Evening Gown Competition (Contestants will model an evening gown provided by Bay Bridal)
a. Individual presentation
b. Hair/Make up
c. Self of Confidence
d. Poise
6. PSA- Public Service Announcement Competition:
a. Provide on a DVD (no blu-ray) day of application registration.
b. Must be 60 seconds
c. Give one point on the importance to study and know the Constitution of the United States.
d. Must promote the Constitution Celebration in September.
e. Judged on clarity, persuasiveness and creativity.
f. PSAs created may be re-used by the Constitution Celebration without
any additional permission of the contestant.
7. Five Finalists will go to onto the Constitution Celebration:
a. September 16, 2012 for the Crowning of Ms. Constitution 2012
(The First Ms. U.S. Constitution)
b. Evening Gown - Must be worn by contestant at time
of crowning.
c. Final Question:
1) How will you represent your stance on the
Constitution in its totality and educate others?
2) What does believing in the Constitution in its
Totality mean to you?
